Suggestions for Enhancing Online Pattern Language System
Annotations for Liberating Voices patterns Although we are currently developing plans to formalize the pattern annotation capability we have established a Wiki-based approach for gathering this information in the interim. We have adapted several suggestions from Till Schümmer's and Jörg M. Haake's excellent WebScience '08 paper, "Supporting Social Practice Learning in NGOs" to this end. The following template (or a reasonable facsimile) have been installed in every pattern annotation Wiki section.
The categories currently include:- Pattern context — discussion and comments on the problems the pattern addresses, the forces that create the problems, and the approaches for dealing with them.
- Comments & suggestions for pattern improvement
- Advice for using the pattern (including check list and danger spots)
- Questions about the pattern and its use
- Experience with the pattern / feedback on use
- Examples — organizations and projects that use or exemplify the pattern
- Resources
- References and additional information
- Scrapbook

Computing for Social Responsibility
The objective of the CSR Digital Library is to make many of the papers and articles related to Computing for Social Responsibility more widely accessible. Many of the papers and authors are associated with Computer Professionals for Social Responsibility. In addition, we are soliciting input from people, CPSR members and others, on these topics. This project was initiated by William McIver who will post the original outline for this resource — if he hasn't already done so already.
