Berkeley is served by three airports.

  • The Oakland (OAK) airport is closest to the conference venue.
  • San Francisco Airport (SFO) is second closest and biggest. Take BART from airport to Berkeley for $5.95.
  • San Jose (SJC ) is farthest away. If you can get a good rate on your ticket you might consider it.

From both the Oakland International Airport and the San Francisco International Airport, the Conference Hotel or the UC Berkeley campus can easily be reached via public transportation. Due to varying schedules throughout the day, it is best to see for detailed directions.

Local Transportation

Public transportation is a major presence in the Bay Area. For point-to-point directions utilizing buses, BART (the light-rail system), shuttles, and other modes of public transportation, please consult
