Week 5 February 4th – 10th

Ulysses Martin visited a community event called “Healthy Homes Healthy Neighborhoods Initiative” conducted by the City of Tacoma and the Dome Top community Alliance. He also worked on conceptual designs for the City of Tacoma’s Green Infrastructure Challenge (TGIC) concerning sustainable community design. He had a meeting with the Salishan Housing management to discuss how the community design is meeting resident’s needs. He also has a meeting with the Tacoma Housing Authority on 02/10/15 to discuss Resilient Community Infrastructure and how it can be retrofit into the Salishan home association. On Wednesday 02/11/15 he has a meeting in Bellevue to collaborate with Osborn engineering to prepare the competition package for the TGIC community infrastructure design to be judged on March 5th at the University of Washington Tacoma Campus during the Vision to Action Symposium.
